WHY PAA PARTY HAS ABANDONED GEORGE KITHI.


It has come to the realization that the leadership of PAA has abandoned George Kithi and  is also not  interested in the petition sponsored by the former  Gubernatorial Candidate in the recently concluded General Election.

It is believed that the Party, which is owned by a flamboyant lawyer Amason Kingi who is the current Senate Speaker in the republic of Kenya adviced George Kithi to abandon the case but he refused completely,arguing that he has evidence to prove that his victory was stolen by Gedion Mung'aro,the current Governor of Kilifi.

However,after much scrutiny and  consultations by the party executive committee on the evidence presented by Kithi,the committee saw nothing of substance to nullify the election and decided not to play any part in the court process and left Kithi to fight on his own after insisting he will win the case and ashame them.

During a crucial meeting to put things in order within the party,the party decided to withdraw their support on Kithi no wonder none of the PARTY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE members has ever attended the court proceedings which are in their fifth month now.Only afew people from the party are normally seen during the court proceedings after being promised little tokens to attend the court proceedings.

Investigations to the issue from reporters  of Kilifi News Updates have established the following reasons to why the PAA PARTY ain't interested in the court processes and why they are not speaking the same language with George Kithi:

1.First,the Party doesnt have the funds to bankroll the court process and even further, to bankroll a gunernatorial campaign in a "miraculous" case where the petition sails thru.The party won only 6  MCA seats out of the possible 35 seats and TWO MP posts and the membership contribution is so low to an extent where even the NEC members are on voluntary terms for lack of money to pay them.

2.Second,the PARTY does not have the much needed popularity on the GROUND to sustain an ODM onslaught and they are solely dependant on their KENYA KWANZA counterpart in UDA to help them sail the boat to an "unlikely"victory in case of a nullification so the PARTY sees this as a wild goose chase that would amount to nothing but a pursuit for futile cause.

3.Third,the PARTY lost trust among its die hard lieutenants by bungling the NOMINATION exercise by nominating relatives and "purpoted" intimate friends leaving majority of its strong members out thereby losing trust among the strong lieutenants,so the PARTY sees a big humiliation in the waiting once it goes back to the DEBE where a strong ODM team would be waiting to slaughter them and feed them to the pigs.

So, for this and many other reasons,the party has decided to take a back seat and leave George Kithi to carry his own cross after refusing to listen to the advice of the party.The case is on its final days with ruling expected to be made on 16thFebruary this year after a petition by Kithi  to scrutiny the ballot boxes was thrown out by the judge for lacking merit.

It is yet to be seen how the relationship with the party is going to be after the ruling of the case,whether they are going to mend fences or not but for now George Kithi has to carry his own cross.
