A WOMAN  BEATS UP HUSBAND THOROUGHLY FOR MARRYING  SECOND WIFE AND SETS THEIR  HOUSE ON FIRE.

A woman in Kakamega decided to take law into her own hands and beat her husband thoroughly before setting their house on fire,shocking everyone in their village.

The lady,in her late 40s got really mad when she learnt of the news from a friend in a saloon nearby their village where she had gone to blowdry her hair for a chama meeting that was scheduled on Sunday evening.

Immediately after hearing that,she cancelled all the chama activities and rushed straight home to go and confront her husband who was busy talking on the phone while laughing, not noticing that her wife was also busy eavesdropping on  his phone conversation.

Hell broke lose when the man mentioned the words "Baby don't worry,we shall get married soon" on the phone while blowing kisses at the mouthpiece of the phone.The woman hurriedly grabbed the phone from her husband and smashed it on the ground to the bewilderment of the husband who had never anticipated such a thing would happen at such a moment.

In the flash of a second,the wife grabbed the husband's neck and threw him on the ground where she started landing heavy kicks on the face and biting his ears and hands to the shock of nearby villagers who had gathered to witness the afternoon drama.

The woman was heard saying,"Who gave u the  permission to marry a second wife,am I not enough for u,what does the other woman have that  I dont have that makes you to ashame me in the village..?"

By the time the villagers could intervene to rescue the man,he was bleeding profusely on the nose and ears as the woman left hurriedly while spitting unprintable words  to go and  buy paraffin to put their house on fire.Efforts to try to extinguish the fire by the villagers  bore no fruits as the house had already burnt beyond recognition. 

Later,the police came and arrested the furious woman and took her to Kakamega Police Station to be charged with assault and arson while the man was taken to Kiangundo Hospital to be  treated for  the severe injuries he had sustained from the assault.

This is a lesson to men  that before you marry a second wife please inform your first wife in order to avoid such incidences and appear on Kilifi News Updates tabloid where factual information is relayed to the public in record time.
