MUNG'ARO:I AM IN ODM TO STAY,I HAVE  GOT NO BUSINESS WITH UDA PARTY.

Kilifi Governor,Hon.Gedion Mung'aro addressing residents in a summit on governance and leadership in Kilifi.

Kilifi County Governor,Gedion Mung'aro has rubbished claims from a quarter of the opposition side in Kilifi that he has broken ranks with The ODM Party of Kenya and joined The UDA Party,a bonafide member of the Kenya Kwanza government.

While answering questions from journalists after the Jamhuri Day event at Karisa Maitha Grounds,the first time Governor,who has won the hearts of many people in Kilifi and Kenya at large has noted that some people are good at spreading propaganda that they cannot substantiate at any cost.

"Nobody should lie to you that I have shifted camps,I am in ODM PARTY to stay and I have got no business with UDA whatsoever,"said the first time Governor who seems to be focussed on delivering on his manifesto for his people while giving a deaf ear to his political opponents.

Majority of his detractors have been busy speculating that he has shifted camps,but the Governor was quick to respond to them,saying;

"There is no one who is more loyal to the ODM Party than me and those ones who are busy questioning my loyalty should be ashamed of themselves because they forget things very quickly but soon or later they will come to realise what am talking about."

Majority of the people in Kilifi believe that the country is heading to the wrong direction and feel like they should be part of the demonstrations going on in Kenya to press the Kenya Kwanza government to reduce the prices of commodities and after being pressed by the media to address the issue,the overworking Governor had this to say;

"You actually don't have to see me saying am in ODM to know that I am in full support of the party,my actions show that am in the party to stay. The fact is that we have problems and they should be addressed since the citizens are suffering and its our mandate as leaders to make sure the problems are solved starting all the way from the national government to the county government,"said the Governor while reminding other leaders to focus on working for the people instead of engaging in early political campaign rhetorics that add no value to the people of Kilifi.

Political temperatures seem to be rising in Kilifi and such comments are likely to arise owing to the fact that political realignments are starting to be witnessed in all angles in a bid to become politically viable when the political season kicks off.

However,the Governor has been heard many times saying that his main priority is to work for the people of Kilifi and delivers on his mandate and when the time for politics kicks off then they will meet on the ground and the people will have the final say on who they will entrust with their problems once again.
