MARTIN MWARO:THE UDA MOLE IN MUNG'ARO'S GOVERNMENT SABOTAGING THE GOVERNOR.

A heavy storm is brewing in Kilifi County over the mannerisms of one of the top officials in Governor Mung'aro's government,Mr Martin Mwaro,the Chief Executive Officer who also acts as the County Secretary who is accused of sabotaging the Governor.

The CS,Mr Mwaro,is accused of sabotaging Governor Mung'aro's government by pushing for the implementation UDA's agendas in Mung'aro's government.


The CS,who is a former employee of Governor Mvurya in Kwale county also vied for the Magarini MP position under UDA but lost the ticket to Stanley Kenga,who went ahead and lost to the current Magarini MP,Harrison Kombe in the August general election.


The CS,who still habours interests of vying for the Magarini MP post in 2027 is accused of  using his position to influence the awarding of tenders which are being allocated to his wife,relatives and close friends in UDA and this has been interpreted as a mechanism to mobilise resources in earnest to act as "Tsamula" in the 2027 election for the UDA brigadier in Kilifi County.


Our investigative team already has the names of the companies that have been
awarded these tenders which are linked to the CS wife who is also an MCA including the recent one of fumigation at the Executive Office of the Governor.

The CS has been pretending to know all the 'laws' since he worked in the same capacity in Kwale under Governor Mvurya,who was the only UDA Governor in Coast province  and is accused of threatening the Governor not take any step without consulting him,however,it has come to the realization that he has been doing all this for his own selfish interest and not for the interest of the people of  Kilifi.

Mr Mwaro is also accused of frustrating efforts of employment of staff at the Governor's office by scuttling all the efforts for their appointments with no letters,no payroll numbers and no salaries for the few employees at the county,nine months down the line,which has caused many of them to contemplate suicide for lacking funds to pay their bills including rents with a good example of a recent case where a worker at the Governor's office was seen waking up from a balcony of his house after being kicked out of his house by his landlord over a five months arrear on rent.

Majority of close confidants of the Governor believe that the CS is a UDA mole that has clearly shown is not in line with the Governor's agendas & has decided to completely spoil the Governor's efforts to spearhead his transformational agenda to the people of Kilifi but instead he has embarked on fulfilling the agenda of his masters in UDA.

Many people are wondering why the Governor trusts him so much to an extent of making him the rubberstamp to majority of the policies that are passed at the county even with a disloyalty tag hanging over his head.

Mr Mvurya,his former boss and the current minister for mining in the Kenya Kwanza government is keen to make him the Magarini MP in 2027 under a UDA ticket and is believed to have financed the recent UDA retreat in Kilifi,where Mr Mwaro procured the T-shirts bearing Aisha Jumwa's photos that was graced by the UDA secretary general,Mr Malala.


It is yet to be seen how long this scuffle will continue with the Governor under pressure to recruit another County Secretary,which Mr Mwaro has scuttled four months down the line.

    If there is evidence of malpractice from any officer ODM / UDA / ANC etc - they should face the law and do what should be done. Otherwise, party politics should not determine delivery agenda in a county. This would very retrogresive in our county.

KILIFI COUNTY TOPS AS THE MOST IMPROVED COUNTY IN KENYA.  Kilifi County has emerged as the most improved devolved unit in Kenya, rising from position thirty-five in 2023 to thirteen in 2024. Infotrak attributed the leap under Governor Gideon Munga’ro to improved service delivery across twelve sectors ofdevolved functions, according to a survey released on Monday. The study, which sampled 8000 residents across Kilifi, reported improved delivery in education (48 percent), environment (48 percent), waste management (46 percent), energy (46 percent), social services (46 percent), and culture and sports (46 percent). Kilifi recorded a performance rating of 45 percent in roads and the same score in planning.
